"Surrounding the doorway and incised into the plasterboard wall that formed the introductory passage to this installation were titles of hundreds of animal fables and international folk tales....The wall of incised words was the first cataloguings of this installation that bound together animal and human kingdoms....Here, at the threshold visitors took off their shoes and donned black slippers before entering the room."
"Stepping within, visitors found themselves walking on...panes of glass, enlarged but in the same proportions of laboratory slides, and connected one to the next by a flexible silicone bead. This gridded network of brittle glass rested on a cushioning of some four hundred pounds of sheep fleece lining the floor."
